The Dingus (PTO)
The Dingus is a PTO mechanism built from the remains of a 1930 German Iron Worker. It's massive. For Spring of 2007, it has a newly designed and built clutch mechanism! Via a long drive belt, it transfers power from the Case Traction Engine's flywheel to kinetic art, including the Viada & Crew Carousel. The Dingus is also the main player in Spy Emerson's performance art piece, The Dingus Smashing Show, making short work of stuffed animals and condiments alike. Mustard anyone?
