This is KSW’s new steam driven water pumping engine, kindly donated by Curt Lindy, Captain and Owner of the tugboat “Robert Gray." This is a general service pump that will provide water pressure for kinetic art applications. We are almost done with the complete restoration of this pump. This unit represents one of steam power’s earliest applications, and it's a great example of the many ways steam and kinetic art can be combined.
